I missed the 2008 Silver Spring Stage One-Act Festival when it went down in August, but I’m hoping to try and participate in it next year. I just added it to my “To Participate in” page for good measure.

I found about it through the Washington Post (in that same article, I found about about Improvapalooza also – which I recently twittered about here.)

I’m not sure what it takes to submit a script.  I saw back in 2006 they had a call for submissions, but didn’t see anything like that recently.  I just shot them an e-mail.  Let’s see what they say – I would like to submit a one-act script for their 2009 One-Act Festival.

Update: In August 2010, I talked to Silver Spring Stage on FB and was told they start reading around the start of New Year’s.  Here’s a link to the conversation.
