To Watch: The Postmodern Life of My Aunt

Found out about this movie in this Washington Post Article.

Here’s a cut and paste from the article:

Yun-Fat is among the tricksters with his eye on a Shanghai woman whose

T-Mobile 3G coming in October for DC (and other places) and update on Nokia E71

Exciting news since I’m not leaving T-mobile anytime soon.

Update: as of 8/3/2008, this is the only helpful post I found on upcoming phones compatible with T-mobile upcoming 3G :

As I posted here, I hope there are some good phones to go with this so I can replace my N76 and Rida’s N82.

If only the E71 would come out w/ T-mobile bands, then Jon could replace his Dash with this (since he wants to stay T-mobile too). Maybe my cousin Shiraz should replace his Q with this though since he wouldn’t mind going T-mobile.

I’ve talked about the E71 before on 6/16/2008 and gave a bunch of few links in that post. Here are some newer links which have come up:

Seeing Dark Knight in DC on IMAX

Like many others out there, I too plan on seeing Dark Knight twice. I luckily saw it the first time in IMAX when I was in Vegas and plan on seeing it in IMAX again. Unfortunately, if you’re in DC since The Dark Knight’s opening night, you only had one option to watch the movie in IMAX which was in Chantilly, VA. The Dark Knight isn’t opening in DC’s IMAX until 8/8. I already bought my 5 tickets for that night for me, Rida, Shahan and a couple of friends.

For anyone else in the DC area who wants to see the Dark Knight on IMAX in DC, go to this link:

Be sure to buy your tickets in advance as they do seem like they are selling out early (at least they were in Chantilly).

Comic Con 2009

After reading the comments here, I want to attend Comic Con 2009 (as I’ve suggested in this post here).

DC Universe Online MMO

Artwork of Superman from DC Universe Online MMO

A game where I can make my own DC hero? hmmm… sounds pretty interesting.

Here’s the link with info on PS3Fanboy. My link specifically is to my comment where I agree with the person above that I’m not interested if there’s a monthly fee.

By the way, this artwork on Superman’s beautiful, no?

Update: 7/28/2008

PS3Fanboy has some footage on the game here.   The comments section has two posts by me, including my thoughts on the best comic book movies here.

A Street Fighter 2 spoof ad… in the Financial Times?

A Street Fighter 2 spoof ad towards the G8

This ad was in the Financial Times today and pretty much shocked me. I wonder how many FT readers know SF well enough to see the spoof.

Anyways, here’s a link to Avaaz.org’s entry on this ad.  I’d like to know more about why Street Fighter 2.

The MK Vs. DC Universe Game

I wasn’t too excited about the MK vs. DC Universe game, but after watching the latest feature on the game on gametrailers.com, I’m sort of looking forward to it now. On the Joystiq post, I chimed in both here (mentioning that the gametrailers vid has sold me on this game and here (mentioning fatalities). I laughed here.

Update: The Joker’s added now according to this Joystiq post from 7/25/2008. On a sort of unrelated note, I want to see Autopsy15‘s 3 paragraphs on why he thinks the Dark Knight is the one of the best movie ever.
